The Piantor keyboard is a beginner-friendly split keyboard developed by Beekeeb, with its design and firmware available as open source. The keyboard layout is inspired by the Cantor Keyboard from diepala, where the slightly stronger column offset makes typing more comfortable, especially for people with shorter fingers. The keyboard can be easily configured to your preferences. As a split keyboard, it is highly ergonomic, making it easier to work at the computer for extended periods. Ideal for people who type a lot daily and are looking for an ergonomic alternative.Low-profile Kailh Choc v1 switches. Actuation distance: 1.5±0.5 mm, Total travel: 3.0±0.5 mm, Lifespan: 50,000,000 cycles.
With hotswap, you can easily exchange your switches at any time.
The keyboard can be expanded with an additional column on both halves.
PBT keycaps with or without labeling. When selecting a set, the entire set is always shipped with all keycaps.
Two extra blank keycaps with a raised bar for the F and J keys.
The case is made of 3D-printed PLA plastic and is available in different colors.
The switches are inserted into the switch plate. It is also available in different colors.
